Cookson & Clegg were founded in Blackburn in 1860, they were a major supplier of military clothing to the British Army and in recent years have gone on to create a business which offers a contemporary, high quality service, specialising in denim and outerwear. They are one of only a handful of British garment factories still thriving. Since 2013 we have crafted a premium denim range with `Cookson, working with their dedicated, highly skilled makers to elevate the humble jean into an innovative product which is built to last.

The Acies Selvedge Jean

The latest stage in our denim evolution, the Acies Jean is made from a Japanese 100% organic cotton selvedge denim. The premium quality 13oz denim is woven on traditional shuttle looms in Japan, and made into finished jeans at Cookson & Clegg's factory in Blackburn, England.
