SOLSTICE 58.58° | A FILM BY LEWIS ARNOLD
The summer solstice occurs when one of the earth's poles has its maximum tilt towards the sun. It happens twice a year, once in each hemisphere. Depending on the shift of the calendar, the summer solstice falls between the 20th and 22nd June in the Northern.
Presenting a beautiful celebration of the sun, Scotland and surfing from Filmmaker and Photographer, Lewis Arnold. A new surf film documenting the longest day of the year with Ambassadors Easkey Britton and Sandy Kerr and Noah Lane featuring long standing friend of Finisterre, and Scottish surfing royalty, Chris Noble.
"There's this almost slowing down of time. I guess it's that reminder how influenced we are by the cycles of the moon and the sun. It's an interesting time to reflect at that midway point of the year."
Finisterre Ambassador Easkey Britton.
